The Sun

In the light
Of the sun
Is inspiration
Wonder
And
Loveliness

Yet in the shadows
Of the sun
There is still darkness
Then the sun is gone
The darkness
Overwhelming

The night is full
Of shadows
And the answers
To the unknown
Are lost
In the wandering void




Then in the bright
Morning sunshine
The light is golden
And the sun
Warms the
Earth with
Her bright rays
Of hope

The day is
Beauty
And at the end
Of the day
The sun
Leaves us
To the shadows
And the dark
Wandering void.
