Testing, testing, 1, 2, 3....

This is completely a test run. Aimee and I were wondering what would happen if we started posting depressing (in our point of view) poems people, ahem, had written. Here's one....

I sit in solitude
Waiting
For someone to come along
Waiting
Waiting for a friend to come and help me up
Waiting
I'm waiting for a pick-me-up
Waiting
Waiting for light in the dark
Waiting
For someone who cares, who wants to stay
Waiting
Someone's calling
But I can't quite reach them
Someone's calling me
Still can't hear 'em
A friend who wants me
Waiting
A person who loves me
Waiting
What's taking so long?
I'm still waiting
I'm stretching out my hand
Waiting
You stretchin' yours?
Waiting
Catch on to mine, 'cause I'm falling while I'm
Waiting
Someone's calling
But I can't quite reach them
Someone's calling me
Still can't hear 'em
Stretching my hand
You stretch yours
I'm falling in the dark
Because I'm
Waiting
